Problem regarding installation

Respected sir,
I am not being able to install the tomcat software. Can you please tell me the step by step procedure for how to install tomcat.Actully i am having the problem with the variable and values that we have to provide in system properties.
Please help me as soon as possible...

Hi, If you are going to install Net Beans IDE, then no need to install tomcat. It will work.
