Nikki Haley Listed One Among the Worst Governors of America
Bangalore: Indian American Governor Nikki Haley has been rated one among the worst Governors in America, in a list compiled by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW.
Haley’s office has raised voice against this, claiming that a liberal-leaning group with a history of attacking Republicans has come up with the list, as reported by Robert Kittle of WBTW.
According to the report, "Her inclusion stems from: (1) an investigation into her private-sector work while a member of the state legislature; (2) pay-to-play appointments; (3) accepting free trips on the private planes of donors, appointees, and people with business before the state; (4) flouting of transparency standards; (5) misuse of federal funds; and (6) advocating for new voter identification restrictions’, reports Kittle.
The list includes the names of 18 Governors and Haley comes in the 10th position. The list categorizes the Governors into 3 groups; 6 worst of all, 6 whose conduct raises questions about their leadership and 6 who are engaged in some indisciplinary action.
