BANGALORE: Several prominent American natives of Indian heritage have grabbed the limelight over the years. But knowingly or unknowingly these individuals still remain unfamiliar to most of us. Here is a list of popular Indian-American Personalities who rose to fame with their immense contributions and achievements in varied fields across the globe.
Sanjeev Kulkarni (Academician): The Mumbai born Sanjeev Kulkarni did wonders when he was selected as the dean of prestigious Princeton University. The Professor of Electrical Engineering is known for his research which spans over broad range of areas related to understanding fundamental limits and developing 
methods for processing data and information, with a focus on information theory, machine learning, and statistical patterns. Kulkarni is an associate faculty member in the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering and Department of Philosophy. He has also served as an associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Engineering and Applied Science from 2003 to 2005.
"Through more than 20 years as a faculty member and administrator, I have developed a very deep appreciation for Princeton," Kulkarni exclaimed. "It is an honour and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve the University in this capacity," reports the CoolAge.
