Padma Lakshmi

Padma Lakshmi the Chennai born beauty is a well-known and recognizable face on the global modeling circuit. Padma Laxmi was raised in the United States with her mother until when a modeling agent discovered her in Spain- her career in the field of modeling just turned on its head from that very moment.

Laskshmi went on to model for some famous designers such as Emanuel Ungaro, Ralph Lauren and Alberta Ferratti and has appeared on the covers of ‘RedBook’, ‘VogueIndia’, ‘FHM’, ‘Cosmopolitan’, ‘L’Officiel India’, ‘Asian Woman’, ‘Avenue’, ‘Industry Magazine’, ‘Marie Claire’, ‘Harper’s Bazaar’, ‘Town & Country’ and ‘Newsweek’. Padma laxmi has also appeared in a few movies and is very much known as a foodie. She’s published several cookbooks and hosted the reality show ‘Top Chef.’
