Bangalore: Debarghya Das, a 20-year-old Indian student from Cornell University has challenged the cyber security of our country, by hacking into the Indian education system. It just took few hours for this young chap to hack the database of ICSE and ISI school exam results, reports Kim Arora of TNN.

According to Das, he just had to run a simple program and the exam results were in front of him. He further adds, ‘’It is shocking they haven't implemented a more secure system’’, as reported by Arora.

“I had all the ISC and ICSE results on my very own computer, in a bunch of comma-separated value files,” says Das. “It was truly incredible. It was 26 megabytes of pure, magnificent data. An Excel file I couldn’t scroll to the bottom of. Just for kicks, I Ctrl+F’d a few names I knew and what do you know? There they were. Line after line of names, subjects and numbers. It was truly mesmerizing, reports Apoorva Dutt of Firstpost.

Das decided to try his hand in hacking for his friends, who were waiting eagerly for their ICSE and ISI results and wanted to know the same, bit early.
