Indian American Teen Invited to Serve as Global Scholar

Bangalore: A 16 year old Indian American student, Bradly Ivan D’Souza has been selected to attend the Global Young Leaders Conference, 2012 which will be held at Washington D.C. and New York from June 11 to June 20.This young chap from Cincinnati, Ohio will be accompanied by students from more than 100 countries.

Bradly is a student of Sycamore High School, who moved to U.S. in the year 2003 with his younger brother.

The students attending the conference get the opportunity to participate as global ambassadors and gain knowledge about diplomatic relations and economics, along with many other subjects concerning global leadership.

Bradly will also take part in a special delegation in Washington D.C. and New York, where he will plan policy proposals and will also engage in discussion with United Nation Speakers. He will also actively participate in debated relating to economics, world trade and conflict resolutions.

From 24 July to 2 August, Bradly will attend a programme in China to attain information about the history of China and some of the challenges faced by the country.

Bradly has been honoured with the prestigious ‘President’s Volunteer Service Award’ for the year 2011 and the same year he attended around six conferences in various parts of the country. Presently, he is the member of the leadership council for Tech-Olympics 2012 at INTERalliance and has finished more than 1,100 hours of community service.
