Karim-Aly Kassam, University of Cornell:

Associate Professor of Environmental and Indigenous Studies at Cornell University, Dr. Karim Aly Kassam is also a Research Associate of the Arctic Institute of North America.

In 1987, he earned a Bachelor degree in Economics from university of Calgary, Canada and M.Phil from Cambridge University in Islamic studies in 1992. Later in 1993 he received masters of Science in Social Policy & Planning in Developing Countries from London school of Economics.  In 2005, he received PhD from Cornell University in Natural Resource Policy and Management.
