The movie which came out last year is a poetic journey into the heart of the old city of Ahmedabad."For the first time a film showcases Ahmedabad to national audiences that shows not the riots but something positive," says the director Prashant Bhargava. Apart from being honoured with the Golden Orchid Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2011 Hawaii International Film Festival, Patang has been selected for many prominent film festivals.
