Indian American Student, Bradly, to Attend Obama's Inauguration

The inauguration of the U.S. President Barack Obama will be held on the 21st of January and Bradly Ivan D’souza a senior student from Sycamore High School is one privileged student who gets to attend this event, after having won a question submission contest held by the High School Presidential Inaugural Conference.

This gives him the opportunity to put forth a question at the time when General Wesley lark makes his keynote presentation, apart from a photograph with the speaker.

Dsouza will also receive a Letter of Participation at the conference with details of his attendance and a description of the experiences and educational components of the event.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the fourteen year old was earlier selected for The Global Young Leaders Conference in 2012. The conference was held at New York and Washington DC from the 11th to the 20th of June.

 He had also participated in the special delegation held in these two cities. This participation provided him the opportunity of holding discussions with speakers from the U.N apart from an opportunity to work with planning policy proposals.

He was also honored with the ‘President’s Volunteer Service Award’in the year 2011. When it comes to community service the young talent has put in more than 1100 hours of dedication into it.

Bradly, along with Rohan his brother has also received an award in 2012 called the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. The award was accompanied by a goldpin for four continuous years apart from a letter by President Barack Obama. He is soon to fly for the event to Washington DC on the 19th of January.
