Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 2 with Extravagant Features

BENGALURU: Chinese company, Xiaomi launches a new model that is an upgraded version of its already popular Redmi Note—the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. The launch held in the Peking University Gynasium, China showcased the phone and its various next generation features. Following Xiaomi Mi 5, the company has added lot many functions onto the Note 2, so let us have a look at what surprises Xiaomi Note 2 has brought:

 Craftsmanship: Xiaomi’s Note 2 is the first phone to feature a dual sided 3D curved glass over a 5.7 inch AMOLED screen. The phone is 156.2 mm in length, 77.3 mm in width and 7.6 mm in thickness. The body is sleek with rounded edges. The phone supports dual Nano-SIM.

The display resolution is high i.e. 1920 X 1080 pixels. Note 2 offers 22.5 MP of rear camera with face detection autofocus and front camera of 8MP. Additional features like fingerprint sensor and Type-C USB reversible connector is provided for faster charging. Further, the phone comes in three color variants—Black, Gold, Silver.  

Performance: Sporting latest features, the performance of Redmi Note 2 is also dazzling. The phone has a large 4070mAh battery which powers up Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad-core processor that is coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM to offer the best-off performance. Considering storage capacity, the phone has an internal memory of 64GB or 128GB depending on the variant, but it does not sport a card slot. The phone is one of the most awaited phone after galaxy note 7.
