Rolly: A Stick Like Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard Unveiled By LG

BENGALURU: Working professionals always like to use the keyboard without any wires attached to it, either at work place or in their homes. The practicality of using a wireless keyboard is that your work gets done with less time as compared to the latter. Well, wait’s gone as LG has announced a Bluetooth keyboard, Rolly, which folds up along the four rows of keys into a stick that can be put in a purse or pocket, according to dnaindia.com.

LG has unveiled a new portable keyboard for mobile use that folds up into a stick small enough to take along with you anywhere everywhere. The full-sized QWERTY keyboard lays flat but has joints along the four rows of its keys so that it folds up on itself into a stick. The length is roughly the same as other Bluetooth keyboards but the folded width is about one-quarter its open size so it can fit into work bags, backpacks and large purses.

LG’s potable keyboard is more comfortable because it is just smaller than the 18mm key pitch found on most desktop keyboards. Like other portable keyboards, the Rolly is Bluetooth-enabled. It connects as soon as it is unrolled and runs on a single AAA battery, which is enough to power it for about three months.

LG has launched several accessories along with the Bluetooth keyboard as it makes a way for greater share of the mobile electronics market including smart phones, tablets and wearable accessories.
