BANGALORE: In the end of April, Xiaomi launched its Indian version of flagship Smartphone named Mi 4i. This Smartphone has made a lot of noise since then, as it took over the Indian Smartphone market leaving other handset manufacturers no chance. The Xiaomi’s Mi 4i sports almost high-end specs at a budget price which makes it irresistible to the buyers, reports IBTimes.

On the other hand, the Motorola’s Moto G (2nd Gen) is the competitor against the Xiaomi’s new arrival. Both lie in the same price range, however recently Moto G got a price cut and it got much cheaper than Mi 4i.

Let’s see how good the Xiaomi’s flagship holds against the Motorola’s mid range Smartphone.

Display

Both Xiaomi’s flagship and Moto G 2nd gen have similar size of screen but when as far as the display of these phones are considered, Mi 4i stands tall with 1080 x 1920 of resolution with 441ppi pixel density. Comparatively, Moto G sports only 720 x 1280 of resolution with 294ppi pixel density.

On a brighter side, both the handsets support multi-touch and 16 million colors. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi 4i produces sharp and bright pictures on the screen whereas; Moto E is protected with Corning Gorilla glass 3 which is more durable than Mi 4i’s screen.

Hardware

Moto G 2014 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor while the newcomer brings in the more powerful octa-core, 1.7GHz quad-core Cortex A53 and 1.1 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processors to run the apps without any lag.
