HTC Launches One M9+ Aurora Edition and Butterfly 3

BANGALORE: An Event held at Japan, HTC released two new handsets, One M9+ Aurora Edition and Butterfly 3. The Smartphones will be available in Taiwan from October 15th and there are no official wordings on the availability of these new Smartphone in Indian market, report TMI.

The One M9+ Aurora Edition will be priced at $630 (approx. 41,600) and the Butterfly 3 will carry a price tag of $600 (approx. 39,900). The One M9+ Aurora Edition comes with the same specs expect the upgraded camera. The Aurora Edition M9+ sports a 21MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, built-in optical image stabilization and laser-guided autofocus.

The new version of HTC One M9+ sports a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and expandable up to 2TB. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, and the dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers are also included in it. Below the display the same physical home button makes a comeback that was available in the original One M9+, a button which is used as a fingerprint scanner as well. The 2,840mAh battery powers this new handset.

Another Smartphone that was introduced alongside One M9+ Aurora Edition is the Butterfly 3. The Butterfly 3 is powered by Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM. This phone as well comes with 32GB internal memory and it is expandable up to 2TB.

It features a 20MP Duo Camera with a dual LED, dual tone flash along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The Butterfly 3 houses a 2700mAh battery and supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology to charge the phone sooner than conventional charging time.

Both One M9+ and Butterfly 3 comes with connectivity options such as 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GPRS/ EDGE and NFC. The Butterfly 3 is IPX5 and IPX7 certified for water and dust resistance.
