Gionee's Flagship Smartphone Gionee S6 Launched in China

BENGALURU: Yet again Gionee has come up with its new flagship model Gionee S6 across the globe worldwide shipping will commence from Nov 22^nd. Gionee S6 is now up for pre-order in China for only $265 outright, which is quite a great deal, considering its hardware configuration, according to softpedia.com.

The new Gionee runs on the latest Android 5.1 version Lollipop, and is based on Amigo 3.1 UI. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) support. Where, the second SIM slot also doubles as the MicroSD card slot. Gionee S6 features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution Amoled display and under-the-hood packs a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT67538 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

The metal-clad Smartphone is backed by a 3150mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 18.8 hours of talk-time and 342 hours of standby time. Elife S6's connectivity options include–Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE (including Band 40), USB OTG and USB Type-C connectivity. The smartphone will be available in Gold and Platinum colour. Additionally, Gionee S6 features a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit with 32GB of internal memory expandable up to 128GB.

It also comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that can shoot full HD (1080p) video and features autofocus and LED flash. Gionee S6 also includes a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
