Apple To Roll Out Its Watch On March 9?

BENGALURU: Surrounded with much speculation for the launch of its smart watch, Apple has finally announced to hold a press event on March 9.

The tech giant has yet again maintained a mist of mystery by not unveiling the purpose of the event in the invitation. The invitation reads “Spring Forward”, a phrase for daylight savings time to be reset on watches, reports Financial Express.

Last month Tim Cook, Chief Executive at Apple, announced the company’s plan to launch a smart watch in April. The watch will aid the users to access their mails, make payments at stores and keep a check on healthcare.

Investors look forward to figure out the battery life of the new device. Few reports also said that the battery life is expected to be around 2.5 hours which can reduce the chances of great sales.

Some speculate that Apple might also launch a music streaming service on the day.

The Apple watch is estimated to be priced around $350 but the company has still not revealed any details regarding the device or the event.

Apple calculates that their new device will leave a great impact on the market although the company has set its foot in the industry.
