Apple Is All Set To Launch Beats Globally By 2015

BENGALURU: Beats is set to hit Apple soon. The news gives better reasons for users to buy Apple iPads and iPhones.Beats on Apple Financial Times has reported that Apple will bundle the subscription music service it bought from Beats into its iOS operating system early in 2015.

Another big anticipation is that Beats might be rebranded under iTunes, soon after its launch in March 2015.

It has been stated that Apple’s music downloads on its iTunes have been declining by 14 percent year on year so far. Therefore this move is expected to push up the sales globally.

Apple’s plan on introducing Beats to iOS goes beyond simply rebranding it under iTunes. Trent Reznor, Beats Music’s chief creative officer, recently hinted to music industry publication Billboard that he was working on new features especially for Apple.

He even stated that “Beats was bought by Apple, and they expressed direct interest in me designing some products with them. I can’t go into details, but I feel like I’m in a unique position where I could be of benefit to them.” Seems like Apple is intensely working towards increasing its sales on downloads with all new features of Beats.

Beats being on the iOS will pose higher competition with music streaming services like Spotify, Pandora, and Soundcloud.

However, this move is more about incorporating Beats Music as a Music app that is already a part of the iOS software and less about marketing.

Apple, which bought music streaming and audio equipment company Beats in May for $3 billion, could not immediately be reached for comment.
