9 Major Announcements from Google Event

BENGALURU: Google event went exactly as expected. Google has released the most expected Nexus Smartphone 5X and 6P along with the updated Chromecast and Chromecast Audio for streaming music and many more, compiles The Verge.

Google has also announced some user-friendly schemes like sharing family photos and play music family plan. The internet giant also unveiled its surface tablet Pixel C, on Android 6.0 Marshmallow announcement event and some extra apps and features to Chromecast.

Nexus 6P

Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P is said to be the Google’s ‘most premium phone yet’. The phone is equipped with a 5MP front camera and 12.3MP Sony sensor on the rear, which can take 4K video and slow motion shots. The phone is 7.3mm thick with a fingerprint scanner on the rear called as Nexus Imprint. It uses new USB Type-C port and is claimed to get charged faster than iPhone 6 Plus.

It will be available in frost white, aluminum, and graphite, and pricing will begin at USD 499. Preorders are already open in the U.S, UK, Ireland, and Japan. Google will be working with third-party retailers outside the U.S.
