Bangalore: Unlike 2012 when gadgets like Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy series reigned the tech market as stars, 2013 had witnessed several gadget flops. Here are the top 10 tech failures from the year that passed, compiled by CBC News.

#10 Galaxy Gear Smartwatch

Samsung’s Galaxy gear Smarwatch was a product that launched amidst lot of expectations. But the recent reports points that the device has several disadvantages causing poor sale numbers. It has a very short battery life that demands charging every night. For a device as simple as watch, charging every 24 hours is something that does not appeal to many. Another dark side of this Smartwatch  is that it works in conjunction with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. So if you want your watch to work properly with other smart devices, chances for your frustration are high. Adding to this has a disgraceful camera quality and is high priced.

1: galaxy gear smart watch failed as it has no sim facility, it can't make calls unless it is connected to NOTE 3, it's major disadvantage

windows 8 is very light os, only suitable for tablets and smartphones whose share was lost to Android due to lack of user friendliness

surface tablets were lost mainly due to its price and secondly it runs on windows 8

google glass is very costly to have a try, even one compromises on the price he faces problem in using it

blackberry 10 lacks user friendliness and also it is out of reach
