Tabtor and Kadokawa Shoten Join Hands to Make Learning Fun on Tablets

Bangalore: Tabtor, a tablet based learning company and Kadokawa Shoten, Japan based media and publishing conglomerate, plan to introduce game based learning on tablets like iPads and other devices with intent to make learning fun and engaging. As part of this agreement Kadokawa Shoten, well known as creator of manga comics, video games and movies, will be working with Tabtor’s tablet based learning platform, currently available on iPads and available to consumers to offer a combined learning and gaming experience to K-12 students.

Tabtor most recently won the Shiksha Ratna award for the best math lab solution on iPads and has been getting rapid coverage globally for its innovative learning platform. Its engaging learning platform has been well received by students, teachers and parents alike for its ability to offer personalized point of learning based solutions to increase student performance and provide intelligence on student learning to teachers.

"Students have a natural affinity to use iPads for learning," said Sundi Natarajan, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Tabtor, India. "We have seen student performance improve significantly when they use our Tabtor Math product and love our gamified interface.” According to Raj Valli, CEO of Tabtor, “when students have fun, they do not realize that they are actually investing a great deal of effort in the learning process. We are creating a new edutainment platform with our partnership with Kadokawa where education and entertainment can happily co-exist and everyone loves it.”

Kadokawa Shoten’s CEO, Shinichiro Inoue, in his message noted “We are excited to work with Tabtor in bringing our characters to life within the learning platform, a paradigm shift in having an educational experience for students.”
