BANGALORE: The world is mesmerized with the social networks connecting the people and shrinking the world with just a click away. Apart from the tech-savvy people and youngsters, the social media is encouraging people from older age group and even lured in politicians in their vicinity. Helping in the magnificent win of our PM Narendra Modi, his online social media campaigns cannot be ruled out, reports John Sarkar of The Times of India.

The current government is looking forward to more usage of social hub more precisely and to help the citizen of the country.

Posting problems on Facebook, Twitter could prove more beneficial as IT team of the government plans to filter out the problems from there and help address it efficiently by forwarding the issues to the respective concerned ministerial departments.

Arvind Gupta, head of BJP's IT cell  said,"This social hub will collect huge amounts of open data from various online sources such as, social media or blogs, which in turn will help us gauge the sentiments of a particular constituency,"  reports TOI. .

The new government is very keen to emphasize upon the effort up bringing in participative governance and keep constantly in touch with the citizens of India as almost whole of India is used to cater to the social media for around everything. The name of the social hub to be created by the government’s IT cell is yet to be named and start the services.

Manish Vij, Founder and CEO of Smile Vun Group exclaimed, "A social media hub helps a brand build trust and increase engagement. Large companies have been using them successfully to listen to their customers and target them with social media marketing. Nowadays, brands are also using digital tools to do sentimental analysis of their customers. Your tweets or Facebook updates can tell us whether you are happy or sad and help us target you with messages or ads on the basis of that."
