Nokia To Make A Comeback In Smartphone Space


BANGALORE: A company hiring software experts, testing products, looking out for sales partners means that the company is gearing up on a big scale to enter the market or re-enter it. Yes the company is Nokia and yes it will be back by 2016 hopefully, reports Reuters.

Nokia, the largest Smartphone maker once had just evacuated the market handing over its brand models to Microsoft in an MoU that will end in 2016. With the likes of Apple, Samsung and other biggies in the Smartphone market Nokia stepped back passing its legacy ‘Lumia’ series to Microsoft for a limited time period and its time the company comes back again to the market and in a way that will record a lasting impact.

After withdrawing from the Smartphone market, Nokia concentrated on manufacturing telecom network equipment. The new boss at helm of Nokia board Rajeev Suri is planning a comeback and making sure the company will be back as a potential competitor, with the likes where Apple is drawing 90 pct of the industry’s profits.

Nokia in the meanwhile has released N1 tablet and also heralded its step in virtual reality sector which is the future by unveiling a camera with VR.

Also the Android app Z launcher which organizes Smartphone content was launched; all these can be termed as the steps of Nokia to be back.

Nokia, this time is not going to be only the Smartphone maker but more than that with gadgets ranging in fields of health and video with 600 technology divisions working on different projects that aim at consumer market.
