Bangalore: Finnish handset maker, Nokia, has sent out invitations for a Lumia event in London on May 14. According to Business Insider report, the invitation says, “the Lumia story continues,” and points to another next-generation Windows Phone from the company.

As per the source, the phone will be called as Lumia 928 and will make its way through Verizon in U.S. It is said to have a metal body with a 4.5-inch touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera and wireless charging capabilities. Besides, Lumia 928, the company plans to launch Lumia EOS, which is said to be a PureView Windows Phone with a whopping 41 megapixel camera.

However, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop refused to give any details about the rumors on next Lumia phone, in an interview last month.

The timing of the Lumia event is a bit odd as it’s a day prior to Google I/O developers conference. Google is expected to announce new updates to Android and possibly new phones from Motorola.
