Great News! Indian Android App Developers Can Now Make Quick Bucks

Bangalore:  Android App market is growing gigantic each passing day, especially in India. But the Indian Android geeks were left high and dry especially in paid app for Google’s Play Store. But great news is here, Google recently included India in the list of countries that can sell paid apps up on registering with Google Checkout merchants. With inclusion of India, now there are 31 countries from where developers are allowed to sell paid apps.

To post a paid app on Play Store, Google has listed out set of instructions, such as

#1 Google Checkout account should be linked to Google Play developer account

#2 The link can be formed only once

#3 Once accounts are linked it cannot be removed, changed or updated

#4 Sign up for a new developer account by paying $25 USD

The developers then be allowed to launch paid apps, include in-app purchases, and can also launch a paid as-free version for ad-supported apps

This can prove a great opportunity for app developers in India to make quick bucks for the hard work they put in to developing apps.  Microsoft recently tried to utilize potential of Indian developers, and is not disappointed, as app fest for Windows 8 that recently held in Bangalore had made it in to Guinness Book Of World Records for maximum number of developers coding for a single event at a common location. No wonder, android app developers can make it big too.
