'Google Now' Is Headed To Google's Home Page


Bangalore: Google Now, the highly efficient personal assistant from Google, which was only available for the fortunate users who own a device that runs on latest Android OS 4.1 or later, is soon to be made available to general users, hints the latest reports on search giant. 

It looks like Google Now won’t be limited to Android, iOS and Chrome alone, but will also be added to Google’s homepage. Some code from a page that’s tested by Google offers more information about this feature, reports Google Operating System, unofficial news and tips blog about Google.

Google Now, the virtual personal assistant, gets you the right information at right time. To achieve this, Google Now tracks the device's location, the entries in the calendar, the content of emails in a Gmail account, search history and preferences -- such as taste in music or which sports teams the user supports, traffic information on the routes the user usually travel, and much more.
