Time’s magazine in an attempt to honor personalities in different sectors has released a list of 100 most influential list, which is dominated by 8 Technology geeks who have remained grounded to change the big picture of progression.

During the selection process the Time reader’s vote for whom they think are the world’s most influential over a three week period, but the final list is consolidated by a team of editors from the magazine.

Each one in this elite club is accompanied by a write up by another prominent personality or close associate outlining why the person is a perfect fit for inclusion in the list.

Several familiar tech names are seen in the list including Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, Daniel Ek CEO of Spotify, Marc Andreessen venture capitalist of Silicon Valley but surprisingly Mark Zuckerberg is found nowhere although he hogged limelight while filing for an IPO and when Facebook acquired Instagram.
