Bangalore: Facebook, the largest online social network in the world, has tried its hand at many things to nudge its horizon a little further. The recently released ‘Facebook Home’ an android launcher, was one such example. It was a clever attempt by social networking giant to subvert Google's world-leading Smartphone platform. But ultimately one question lingers, “Was ‘Facebook Home’ a hit with users?” apparently, the answered is, no. There are many such products from Facebook, which even after their roaring launch, couldn’t win the users’ heart. #11 Facebook Email Never Really Worked Out

Facebook, in November 2010, opened its own email service ‘@facebook.com’, which even after much hullabaloo, didn’t fare well with users. Tim Watson, UK Operations Director at Emailvision, the company that develops software for email, mobile and social marketing campaigns, said that despite the initial hype Facebook mail received, an independent analysis of more than 3 million active addresses has found that a paltry 0.0015 percent bear Facebook’s domain.
