Apple's Dark Work Culture Secretes Revealed- An Insider's View Of Life At Cupertino Giant

Bangalore: All the tech giants profess their belief in set of noble ideals like growth of employees, teamwork, and transparency—but a real time ground experience may tell a different story altogether. If Intel and Apple are considered as an example, according to Ariel Maislos, former CEO of Israel's Anobit, which Apple acquired: "They say that Intel is full of paranoids, but at Apple, 'they' really are after you." A ZDNet report about Maislos’ experiences of Apple culture and how the company's 1990s 'near death experience' still shapes it today.

Maislos worked for Apple about a year after the iPhone manufacturer acquired Anobit in December 2011 for a reported $390 million. It is his work at Apple that placed him in a unique position to know about what goes on inside Cupertino Giant. While he would have not revealed these secretes if he is still working with the company, Maislos is no longer an Apple employee. Maislos shared some of his experiences with a rapt Tel Aviv audience recently at an event sponsored by the Israel Semiconductor Club.
