If you are even a bit assured that, like SOPA, even this effort by the House of Representatives would go in vain due to protests and blackouts by Internet Companies then wake up. CISPA has got confirmative nods from almost all the big shots of the tech world like Facebook, Google and Tumblr and is on its way to be passed by considered by the senate. So, in spite of receiving 800,000 anti-CISPA petitions by people, the act will not create much stir in the tech world this time around.
