Bangalore: Indians have always been well known for their intelligence and dedication to work. No wonder that Indians have been among the world’s most successful bunch, amidst the ebb and flow. The top positions of many U.S. tech companies are now been headed by Indian born techies; and the names of Satya Nadella and Sunder Pichai, the aspiring candidates running for Microsoft’s CEO post, also included in the list. Below are the 10 Indian techies who made it big in the U.S. tech landscape, as compiled by Economic Times.

#9 Padmasree Warrior  

Born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Padmasree Warrior is currently the Chief Technology & Strategy Officer (CTO) of Cisco Systems, and was the former CTO of Motorola. Warrior did her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1982 and higher education from Cornell University. She is noted as one of the few Indians who left a success trail in the U.S. tech landscape.
