#7 Osborne 1

Osborne 1 pioneered portable micro-computing in the early 1980s and this was commercially successful business of the era. Unfortunately, the Osborne Computer Corporation decided to pre-launch its successor, the Osborne Executive, even when the original was still fresh in the market; which immediately saw death. Tech lovers began to ignore the ‘obsolete’ machine, with majority of them turning to Apple or IBM instead of waiting for the new model. By 1983, Osborne no longer existed, in advance replacing its flagship product.

#6 Cisco Flip Camcorder

The ‘pocket cam’ craze that flourished in the latter half of the past decade was organized in the forefront with the Flip camcorder. Even though it boasts the convenience of a compact camera, it is an amateur videographer’s gadget of choice equipped with Full HD video. Cisco chose to discontinue the business even though it acquired the product for $590 million hardly two years before its cancellation. At the time of its termination, the flip represented roughly 35 percent of the camcorder market was still gaining strength.
