8 Companies with Worst Customer Service

BANGALORE: “Please hold, your call is important to us”. No one ever feels like a valued customer when they hear that message. When it comes to customers it is the gold service that matters, proper communication, right attitude, ability to help, delivered promises and many more. The bad news is that in today's world, customer service isn't getting any better. When companies get bigger, customer service tends to suffer. Many companies lose future sales because of upset and undervalued customers without even being aware of it. Here is a list of 8 companies with worst customer service, reported by 24/7wall St.

#1.Bank of America

The Bank of America Corporation is an American multinational banking and financial services corporation headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the second largest bank holding company in the United States by assets. Among the big banks, Bank of America is considered to be the worst bank. Strict regulations and fines are also making the problem worse, resulting in cost-cutting measures that may worsen the customer’s experience.

Continued branch closings may also impact customers’ experiences with the bank. In 2013, Bank of America cut its total number of branches by 6 percent, and the bank continues to discard locations as consumers increasingly use mobile devices for banking.

#2.Comcast

It is the largest cable company and home Internet service provider in the United States, and the nation's third largest home telephone service provider. In 2004 and 2007, the American Customer Satisfaction Index survey found that Comcast had the worst customer satisfaction rating and also indicate that the company's customer service has not improved since the surveys began in 2001.

The customer experience at Comcast is so bad even CEO Brian Roberts has admitted the company needs to do better. Recently, Comcast was involved in yet another customer service disaster when a call of a customer attempting to cancel the service went viral. Comcast has issued an apology and said it was “very embarrassed.”
