CA Technologies: The American based software company develops systems software that runs in mainframe, distributing computing, virtual machine and cloud computing. The company has total revenue of $4.5 billion as per 2014 reports. CA holds more than 400 patents worldwide and is located in over 45 countries. This company has acquired a lot of companies over the years and the latest one was the acquisition of Layer 7 Technologies worth $155 million, in 2013. The company has had its shares of lawsuits over the years.
