BANGALORE: Silicon Valley is dominated by the presence of men leading huge companies in the technology industry. They have made impeccable advance with technology and with their salaries, but women are not far behind. There is a need for more women in the STEM world and some companies are setting aside monetary funds to see that happen, but these women have risen and have become integral part of growth in technology growth. Sheryl Sandberg: The new COO of Facebook has a net worth of $1 billion. She is the first woman in the board of executives in Facebook. She worked for Google before joining Facebook where she served as the VC of global online sales and operations. She is one of the richest women in the U.S. She also has a remarkable history working for the government of America during Clinton’s Administration. Apart from her corporate life, Sandberg is also an author and an activist.
