Bangalore: Internet is the single biggest tech revolution of this era and it is as indispensible for us as the basic needs. The revolution had many flag bearers, some of the names are eternally etched in our psyche like Linus Torvalds, creator of the open-source Linux operating system; Tim Berners-Lee, father of the modern Web. But did you know who Donald Davies and J.C.R. Licklider were?  And why are they, and some others, so important as to be inducted into the internet hall of fame? Note: The Internet Hall of Fame established in 2012, is an honorary lifetime achievement award administered by the Internet Society (ISOC) in recognition of individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and advancement of the Internet.
