#10 Curiosity Rover

Curiosity Rover is the undisputed champion of robots this year. She touched down the red planet on August 2012 and since then, is performing unimaginable things on her own- updating software, tweeting, taking hi-definition pictures and so on. Two days back, on her first birthday, she even got nominated for TIME Person of the Year!
