Bangalore: Twitter is gearing up to go public with its most anticipated IPO event in November. The company is on high hopes to regain the losses it incurred over the past three years by focusing on wooing investors for its revenue growth. According to Reuters, Twitter is expected to seek a valuation of $10billion, which will very well cover the $69 million loss it incurred during the previous year.

Twitter penetration rate: 31.1 percent
In a recent event, Turkish Government banned its citizens from accessing Social Media like Facebook and Twitter via internet following an angry protest from its people. A majority of the internet users from Turkish then switched to VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) to evade the government’s censorship. With an Internet population of 36,455,000, Turkey has the highest number of Twitter users in the world with a Twitter penetration rate of 31.1 percent. Its estimated percentage of overall Twitter users is about 6 percent. It’s no wonder why Turkey takes the first rank in Twitter usage, all thanks to its persistent citizens.
