eHealth Access To Raise Second Round Angel Investment

Bangalore: eHEalth Access, formerly known as Dial Ur Doctor, a company which provides healthcare solutions through telemedicine technology is planning to raise second round of Angel investment by the end of 2012.

The company offers round the clock medical service and consultation over phone and through video conferencing, emails and chat. It has roped in 200 specialists and 150 general physicians to attend the queries and clear the doubts of registered users.

eHealth access offers different registration plans including monthly, yearly and one time consultation to individuals and family. Customers can select plan for general or specialty doctor consultation.

Company had earlier raised an angel funding of Rs 2 crore from a group of NRIs, stated Dealcurry.

Another company in the sector, Angels Health, which provides online consultation from a large pool of medical experts had last year received a funding of Rs 2.5 crore from HDFC’s private equity unit which now has 12 percent stake in the company.
