Mumbai: Vserv.mobi, a global mobile advertising network for app developers, has appointed Vikas Gulati as Vice President of Business Development for South East Asia. Based out of Singapore, Vikas will be looking after the company’s growth in this region.

Founded by Dippak Khurana and Ashay Padwal, Vserve  with its premium App Inventory on both Feature phones and smartphones, offers unparalleled reach to a wide demographic. The company has raised a total of $3 million in funding till date in series A round of funding from IDG Ventures India.

Dippak Khurana, Co-Founder, Vserv.mobi, said that expanding their operations in the burgeoning mobile market of SEA is a key phase of their growth strategy. Vikas’ experience and customer relationships in the SEA will help them to leverage newer opportunities and strengthen their goal of being a top mobile ad network in emerging markets.

Vikas comes with over 14 years of experience in media and marketing. He moves from Sprice.com, an online travel network, which is now a part of Travelport, where he was VP-marketing and business development, Asia. He has also held various leadership roles at ZenithOptimedia and Carat India amongst other companies.
