The budding venture is thus successfully implementing cheaper alternative of renting new or used textbooks.

Sumit Kumar, Co- founder of Ucanrentbooks.com came across this idea when some of his friends were renting out books from local bookstores giving fancy rates. Kumar did some research about the business opportunities and the process involved in launching an online portal for renting books and the discounts attached to it.

After completing graduation, Kumar co-launched the website with his friend and faced its biggest obstacle in terms of capital. “The hardest part of the job is sitting most of time on laptop. I love my job without any doubt, but sometimes I have to spend more than 16 hours on my laptop every day doing all the work.” added Sumit.
