mCarbon, a leading mobile Value Added Service (VAS) provider, was given with the prestigious NASSCOM EMERGE 10 Award. Founded in 2008 by Rajesh Razdan and Brij Mohan Mahendru, mCarbon delivers contexts of well offerings that allow communication service providers like Airtel, Vodafone and Docomo to create and deliver smarter and valuable services like ‘do not disturb’ and ‘manage your call’. Having raised their first round of funds of 20 crore rupees from Canaan Partners in 2009, Rajesh claims mCarbon is growing at almost 100% year on year. Rajesh says, “We power about 80% of ‘do not disturb’ customers.
