He started working in a factory when he was just 15 years old due to the untimely death of his father. Later he started his own venture. He used to make and sell plastic flowers which grew into Cheung Kong Industries. Currently, Li is the world’s largest operator of container terminals and the world’s largest health and beauty retailer.
