Skillkindle Raises Angel Funding From i3 Consulting


New Delhi: An online market place for students and teachers, Skillkindle has raised angel funding from i3 Consulting. Founded in 2011 by Tanuj Choudhry, the company plans to use the fund for expansion of team, increasing the marketing outreach and ramping up the technology front.

Before founding Skillkindle, Choudhry was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in South Africa and an analyst with the company’s knowledge Centre in Gurgaon. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, and an MBA from INSEAD.

The Nodia based company also provides offline workshops for anyone looking to learn anything, may it be salsa, cooking, professional courses like digital marketing, or origami. It plans to subsequently launch in Mumbai and Bangalore by August this year and then going for a Pan-India expansion by October.
