As a provider of workforce productivity software, the Pune-based WorkApps combines the functionality of point solutions like Slack and Asana. With SRI Capital as one of their early investors, WorkApps is involved in rolling out their product worldwide. “Enterprise Workflow Collaboration (EWC) on SAAS will be a dominant force in the enterprise space and our product will enable large enterprises to augment communication efforts, improve efficiency and change the way people collaborate and work together,” says Rudrajeet Desai, Founder and CEO of WorkApps.

Yellowdig—an innovative learning management software engages students and teachers in a new way to improvise their learning outcomes. Shaunak Roy, Founder and CEO, Yellowdig, expresses that they are currently facing a rapid growth of SaaS platform in higher education in the US. Having Shashi joined as an investor, Yellowdig foresees a lot of potential to grow in adjacent K12 and Corporate e-Learning markets.

Zuppler—an online ordering platform for restaurants, caterers, groceries and sports venues offers a completely branded and personalized online ordering experience that combines with the restaurant websites via native APIs. Integrating with Point of Sale and Loyalty providers, Zuppler’s aims to streamline various technologies through their platform and provide the restaurant the marketing and support tools to take control of their online customers. Shiva Srinivasan, Founder and CEO of Zuppler,  has a target to get 10,000 restaurants globally in 4 years with each restaurant averaging between 750–1000 transactions per month directly through their website.

Adding further credence, SRI Capital’s seed investments sustains to make news with a few recent and advanced funding announcements. Example, HealthifyMe, a Bangalore-based fitness and diet subscription service raised a $6 million Series A round led by IDG Ventures. Beroe Inc., a leader in procurement analytics, raised a Series A round of $10 million from Access PE. Earlier, Phenom People, a talent engagement SaaS platform, raised a $7.6 million Series A round from Sierra Ventures and Sigma Prime.

“I am delighted by the success we are seeing in our portfolio companies moving to Series A rounds with top notch investors both in India and the US. In this challenging funding environment, it is further proof that top entrepreneurs will get the funding they need for growth. It is an honor to be part of their success,” says Sashi Reddi, Founder and Managing Partner SRI Capital.
