PriceBaba Secures Seed Investment, Amount Remains Undisclosed


Bangalore: PriceBaba, an online price comparison service provider has procured undisclosed funding from Karamveer Singh (Pune based angel investor and entrepreneur), Dinesh Tejwani of Fast Fact Computer Systems (acquired by Thomson Reuters), Aditya Mishra (Founder & CEO, SwitchMe.in), Ashutosh Rathi (Basil Partners) and Ranjeet Walunj of The Service Solutions, reports medianama.com.

This location based search engine was set up in 2012 by Annkur P Agarwal. Currently, this startup has is presence being felt in cities like Mumbai, Pune & Delhi NCR with over 350 verified mobile phone retailers live on the platform and it also dreams big and aims to launch its services in 10 cities by of 2013.

“If retailers make money (because of us), we make money from them. As we add more features, we’ll have more options coming up. We’re trying to solve a critical issue of searching for prices in offline stores, and whether stores have the product in stock or not. Customers today search for prices online, and go and buy offline,” said Annkur Agarwal in an interview with MediaNama.
