PrettySecrets, an Online Lingerie Brand Receives Funding from IAN, Harvard Angels and Orios Ventures

Bangalore: PrettySecrets, an online lingerie brand announced that it has received funding from Indian Angel Network, Harvard Angels and Orios Ventures. The undisclosed investment was led by IAN member Rehan Yar Khan, who will take the board of PrettySecrets, and Farooq Oomerbhoy. Stylist and the former Jr. Fashion editor of Harpers Bazaar India Allia Al Rufai also participated in the investment.

The company will use the money to scale back end, logistics, and customer service, build supply chain, enhance product catalogue and to market the brand, as reported by yourstory.in.

PrettySecrets was founded by Karan Behal who has a family background of manufacturing and exporting ladies nightwear for over 30 years. Previously, Behal had worked in the lingerie retail segment, and been a part of a chain of lingerie stores “Lace – The lingerie club”.

The online store went live 8 months ago and is owned by MTC Ecom. PrettySecrets.com currently offers around 700 products in 8 categories such as lingerie, swim, and accessories.

The investors were interested in PrettySecrets because an online ecosystem is the perfect way to sell the products which they are offering. Rehan Yar Khan is optimistic of the success of Pretty Secrets, which addresses a large and underserved segment in India.
