Olacabs Launches A New Service, Ola Mini, At Auto Fares In The City

Bangalore: With an intent to offer commuters in Bangalore an economical, reliable, secure, and transparent travel experience, Olacabs, India’s largest aggregator of car rentals and point-to-point cab services announced the launch of its new city taxi service, Ola mini in Bangalore. The new service will be offered at auto rickshaw fares of 13 per km with a base fare of 100 for the first 6 kms, making it the least expensive AC cab service available in the city.

Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO and Co-founder Olacabs said, “In order to solve commuters’ everyday problems we have launched our service, Ola mini which will help people commute at auto fares. We are launching with 250 cabs under this service and we plan to increase the number to 1000 by the end of this year.”

Ola will offer AC compact cars like Tata Indica Vista and Ford Figo under the Ola mini service. Customers can book the cabs online, by calling Ola’s call center on 33553355 or through the Ola mobile app. With Ola mini, customers will also get the usual cutting edge services like the ability to book and track the cab through their mobile phones, e-mailed receipts, accurate meter and well trained professional drivers.

Gul Panag, former Miss India, Actor and Activist, who inaugurated the service said, “Road travel in metros is a tough and problematic experience that many a times leaves passengers tired and irritated. It is good to see Ola offering its customers a much better experience at such low fares.”
