Bangalore: Mycity4kids.com a Gurgaon based startup has raised an undisclosed angel funding from YourNest Angel Funds. Mycity4kids is an online guide for keen parents residing in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore; it provides all information required for a kid’s development within a city.

The funded amount by YourNest remains undisclosed and the quantum of the investment cannot be immediately ascertained but it is estimated to be around 3-5 crores ($0.6 – 1 million). The investment has also made another change; Girish Shivani the director of YourNest Angel Funds has joined the board of this startup.

Mycity4kids is an online guide that helps keen parents and especially the ones re-located by providing ample information about playschools, schools, tuitions, day care centers as well as sports classes. It also provides information on summer camps, workshops and fun events around the city. It has advertisement portals that allow schools and other agencies to advertise their business and provide necessary help to such keen parents looking for the best opportunity available for their kid.

Vishal Gupta the co founder and managing director of Mycity4kids, said: “It is a vertical e-commerce portal exclusively focusing on local services for kids up to the age of 14. The funding will be primarily used to expand our geographical presence across top cities in India and abroad.”

The startup will extend its services in Mumbai and Bangalore from July 15 and over the next three years; it will foray into the top 16 cities of the country. Mycity4kids was founded in the year 2010 by Vishal Gupta, Prashant Sinha and Asif Mohamed.
