Kerala Student Entrepreneurs to receive 1 lakh sq ft Land from Government


Bangalore: Student entrepreneurs in Kerala must be delighted for all great benefits and support they have been receiving from the government. Unlike other states in India, Kerala Government has been taking extensive steps to ensure that their student folks are completely self dependent and far better than those men in the west. In a recent Emerging Kerala Meet, Under Student Entrepreneurship Programme announced that the government would hand over one lakh sq ft area to Start up Villages by Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) before 2014, as reported by mathrubhumi.com.

This announcement was officially made by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. 'Work is fast progressing for 25,000 sq ft area which will be handed over by March next year. The balance 75,000 sq ft area will be handed over by January 2014 to the student entrepreneurs. Apart from this, 25 cents of land will be allotted to provide basic facilities,' he said.
