India's Next Super "Startups"

BENGALURU: The economic landscape in the country is changing by the minute, throwing up opportunities for the next wannabe Ambanis, Tatas or Azim Premjis. You don’t have to be an MBA graduate to be an entrepreneur. It is all about having an idea along with the fortitude and the moral fiber to pull it off. In the last few years we have seen so many remarkable startups like Flipkart and Snapdeal, out of the blue and making it in the big league. Venture capital database management firm CB Insights has recently published a report showcasing the most promising startups to look out for in the future. Listed below are a few names compiled from the CB Insights report.

Aasaanjobs

Like the name implies, Aasaanjobs is an online job search portal, but it caters to an entirely different segment. Aasaanjobs focuses on entry level jobseekers as well as people looking for manual labour like carpenters, drivers, loaders, packers and more. Aasaanjobs, founded in 2014, operates on a simple yet novel idea– make use of the country’s most valuable asset, human resource. Its founders recognised the need for a job portal which can utilize this vast resource and provide for them. Within two years, the startup has grown in leaps and bounds, earning a name for itself as well as its young, enthusiastic group of founders. The startup’s growth didn’t go unnoticed as it recently secured funding from Inventus Capital Partners, Aspada Advisors and IDG Ventures.
