The Silicon Valley’s focus on the nation’s startup companies is only getting sharper as they turn to conquer the Indian market by acquiring Indian startups that have direct access to its population. Twitter acquires ZipDial: Twitter, for the first time has acquired a Bangalore-based  Indian startup company called ZipDial, which is a mobile marketing platform. zipdialThese two companies are not new to each other as they have in the past worked alongside each other during various programs and campaigns. Now, Twitter is back and has officially acquired the startup.

ZipDial has more than 60 million users and offers a unique feature of engaging with users’ offline. The Indian public uses this platform to access cricket scores, follow their favorite celebs and also access audio programs. This platform will give twitter the breakthrough they need to conquer the Indian market.

Facebook acquires Little Eye Labs: This Bangalore based startup; Little Eye Labs was acquired by Facebook last year. The startup has developed a tool that analyses android apps for better performance.
